///M Power-Belgium wroteFigures 🤬Too bad for Charlie (!)

Killed by Death wroteYeah . Same goes for MAX . They called him in to pit under the SC and put him on hards.Not Charlie’s fault. His tires wouldn’t have been toast if Ferrari didn’t put them on too early 🤬
Fillip wroteAnd also Verstappen, who got +5 second penalty for driving across pin late exit lines (I did not see the video).Charles Leclerc has been handed a post-race time penalty, dropping him to P8.
GuidoK wroteMAX a few inches over a line with one tyre that wasn't fully over the line, stewards have become pickety witches but at least he keeps his well earned points as HAM was well behind.Silly to give penalties after the race. Especially the one for Max which happened in lap 10 or so...
I mean if given in the race the driver/team can adapt strategy to that (and other teams too), which can give better spectacle for us viewers.
If it was thàt hard to see with all the footage they have...did it then really matter? Ok, a fault is a fault, but something like this should be able to be decided within a few minutes imho.
Now it didn't matter (for Max that is) because LEC also got a hefty penalty (I can understand that that is given after the race, as it happened in the last part of the last lap), but still..
And is LEC penalty justified? I didn't see it but if he really cut off a chicane while defending his position...that is gaining an advantage, whether or not his car was driveable.
But the FIA messing up.... what else is new...
Oh well...
Killed by Death wroteHe doesn't seem too concerned with Charlie's predicament and seems not to listen to some of his set up ideas with the inevitable 'Ferrari things' rearing its head later. The Scuderia need a tech brain as well as a manager all in one as Mekies is but I'm not sure if Horner would fit that role and also dealing with the phone calls from the 'person above'.Figures 🤬
Ferrari Fred gotta go!!! Horner
Kimi and Max are getting awful damn close to getting a new fan.
Car-Addicted wroteAs Lando says and we'll all be years older before the 'manufacturers choice' battery orders to F1 are finally buried six feet under.OK time for me to stomp on some rainbows and puppy dog tails. Yes it was a good race and there was passing but it was artificially created by energy deployment. You make a good pass but you deploy your energy and thus you get re-passed on the next series of turns, good racing or the result of electronic manipulation? The only way forward for good honest Formula One racing is a consistent power out put at all times and the DRIVER deciding how and when to use it. Almost all of these racers have a history of working up the racing ladder of under powered cars (Formula Ford, ect.) only to make it to the premiere racing series in the world only to have power by committee.
