That said, I would probably try wrapping the white area with black vinyl (or even just do some REALLY poor photoshopping of the pics you've taken) just to see if the contiguous black look speaks to you more than the current look; You could just keep the vinyl on from there if so or paint and protect it to make it a permanent mod.
I have that same front lip and went with painted, color-matched outer sections, and I think that treatment would look fantastic on your car as well. If you are trying to keep things consistent front to back with the gloss black winglets, you could even paint the outer sections white, but leave the faux winglets on the lip black to flow with what you have going on on the skirts and diffuser. Just another idea to throw into the mix.
I don't think there is a "wrong answer". Any of these options will look great imo - including running it as is and just enjoying it!
