I've been working with a local powder coating shop for years and they've never given me a single reason to complain. Their work has been solid. The only thing though is the cost, which seem to be slightly higher than what I see some shops charge on their pricing sheet. Even with shipping, it'd still be >25% cheaper. Yes that's not much, but every penny counts in this crazy economic environment.

Anyone here can recommend some shops over on the east coast that they've worked with and accept parts to being shipped to them? I'm mostly looking at getting my brake calipers done.

Where are you in VA? There are a number of shops in northern VA as well as the MD suburbs.

I'm in FX. The shop that I've always been working with is in Chantilly (N* C****NGS). Again, I love their service and zero complaints. Great work matched with great customer service. I was just curious to see if I can get a set of calipers done at a slightly lower cost.

I've heard of NV but never used them. Wheels Onsite does mobile wheel repair but has a specialty shop in Sterling that powdercoats - https://wheelsonsite.com/shop/

If "FX" means Fredericksburg there are a number of indy shops in that area working on BMWs, if that even matters - motorcycle shops do/use a lot of powdercoating. I've seen some mentioned on the FB E46 forums - surely someone in the area knows of a local coater for you that might be cheaper than up here. Good luck!
