KoenG wroteYes I agree the concept 8 was miles better looking than the production vehicle; however, I think the iX3 was the opposite, in my eyes, it looks better than the conceptThe 8 concept was also a very handsome thing. But BMW has a tradition in making great concepts and messing it up for production.
They are still milking the G15 like they did with the Concept Skytop.
JK479 wroteI don't know about rear legroom in the 911, but in the M6 E63, M6 F13, and M8 F92, there's very little—no legroom at all.Believe it or not- the rich had kids who fit in the seats well.
For years I had a 997 gen 911 that was a joy to have because my kids could drive with me. But as they got bigger it was less practical.
There is a use case for the backseat. Even if the car is 250,000.
BMW has always neglected its coupes, and that will be the case here too; the car won't be produced. It would be better to make another SUV.
At least we know what the interior of the 7 Series G72 with the Alpina package will look like.
A_ wroteWell Alpina could have taken over the xM or x7 and made them beautiful again. Current x7 is had to look atI don't know about rear legroom in the 911, but in the M6 E63, M6 F13, and M8 F92, there's very little—no legroom at all.

Changed it to frozen pure grey metallic for fun.
If they went conservative and just changed the face, it would still be an improvement:

Hilarious vid clip connotes said trend, sentiment...confess, like'em "BIG & CHUNKY"

FutureOG wrote$250k, 100 units available per year worldwide. Works?Likely wishful thinking, but if they lifted that design wholesale and placed it on a 7 series (4 doors, sedan roof line), it could look a little like this:

Msparta wroteConcept to show the Alpina version of the Neue Klasse design language. The only car they’ve confirmed is a 7 series-based car for next year, so it could look like that but with 4 doors, or it could look like a 7 series with a different face:What’s the word is it prototype or will this thing become real?
This concept shows the design thinking, but expect the first models for production will be 7 series and XB7.
Idmoment wrotePay $49k for a $15k car and enjoy hailing musk on social media.Looks like they took their idea from Tesla hard to beat Tesla isn’t it?
1. I will pay you $200,000 for this car, BUT…
2. you must put the steering wheel on the correct way (upside down is not acceptable), AND…
3. you cannot have capacitive touch buttons on the steering wheel you replace this stupid thing with.
… I have spoken.
moriluvatar wroteYou do realise the steering wheel will look exactly the same if you flip it 180 degreesHaving now studied all available information from the reveal, listen up BMW!

It’s basically the same wheel as the iX3 so I don’t like your chances.
If they actually built this it will likely be similar to the BMW Skytop, and nowhere near US$200k.
bavarianboar wroteFunny...$250k, 100 units available per year worldwide. Works?
The M8 based Skytop sold for 500k Euros, so $580k. So you can expect that to be up from there at that volume.
wankelman24 wroteI’m guessing it’s a tuned N63…. M850i fam agreesGreat looking concept on the outside..... but BMW still pushing that garbage iDrive X !! STOP pushing that garbage Tesla Interior on us!
Brokejetflyer wroteN63 is dead because of emissions, it will be an S68 like the X5/X6/X7 M60i.I’m guessing it’s a tuned N63…. M850i fam agrees
I’m not sold on the Boba Fett / Cadillac front end. Ooh that was a mistake.
SoCali E36 wroteBrabus Bodo is real and amazing looking considering it’s based on the Aston Martin vanquish which is already an amazing car.Concept to concept, I’d take the Brabus over this any day.
Let’s see when M decides to work on a grand coupe or 8 replacement one day if ever…
