Got them installed today on my 2019 50i, Impressions:

Much Improved throttle response and sound! The car has came much more alive. Pulls harder and longer, sound is a deep growl, I definitely don’t see myself doing anything further for sound given I have the M sport exhaust and now these downpipes. No CEL, and the shop that Installed them does MANY high end builds - Lamborghini performantes, Audi R8’s etc, and the shop mechanic made it a point to say “those downpipes are absolutely the highest quality I’ve seen”. Install was about 5 hours.

Next up- BMC filters, Racechip GTS and XLR, Fresh Liqui Moly oil change.

If the Racechip leaves me wanting more I will be sending my DME for a Heatsync flash, but not in a huge rush on that. H&R lowering springs and Alex’s (3) sway bars going on in 2 weeks, than I might powderCoating my black 22” wheels a light silver gloss. The black wheels on carbon black are kind of becoming a dark blob and I’m ready for some wheel POP!

Guys, they are expensive for sure but I’m not the least bit exaggerating when I say they really made the car come alive. I haven’t even tuned it yet!

Did you use the M50i catted downpipes or are the 50i just not listed on their website yet?

They were the 550i pipes- they are on page 2/3 i believe, not cheap but with the performance and sound I’m 100% glad I installed them. My car only has 19k miles so I’ll get about 5 years enjoyment before I trade it in.

I assumed the same, but the site and some 550 specific cats that are non catted and then a set for both the N63 and S63 that are catted and just mention that G series require a different model. Trying to make sense of their website and listings and hoping for clarification as to which definitely fit, price isn’t all that bad considering the cost of cats in general.

Correct, their website is a little confusing with the product fitment, below I posted the link to the exact product, it is a perfect fit meant and as I stated the throttle response an extra power both feels and sounds extremely noticeable! I’ll try and get some videos for you guys tomorrow

Absolutely in my opinion, I spent 72,000 on the car with less than 20,000 miles on it I damn sure didn’t have a problem spending a few thousand more for such an improvement, sounds like your thought process is similar. These big turbo engines wanna breathe and that’s exactly what this allows them to do. I have the race chip GTS to install and then I’ll probably Dyno map it just to see the power improvement on paper and how smooth the power delivery is overall. I’m 100% convinced this is the set up to go with, the guys who installed them have probably installed over 500 sets of downpipe‘s from every manufacturer ranging from Ferrari, Lamborghini, to Hondas, and they said they bought the perfect product to install and enjoy as the cheaper versions fit like crap and don’t sound pleasant at all.

Honestly it really does feel pretty substantial, I’ve tried to be the least bias I can be but the increased throttle response and impressions are pretty large I would estimate 40-45hp or so!
