M50i/M60i downpipe question

I am used having M/AMG cars with multiple cats on a stock downpipe. Removing those made significant difference in sound volume.
However, it looks like M50i/M60i only has one primary cat on the stock downpipe.
Since there is only one cat on each pipe, does it actually make huge difference in sound if you replace that with aftermarket downpipe with high flow GESI cat?

Looking for any input from those who replaced M50i/M60i downpipe with aftermarket ones.
