I feel like I need to because we did have a Toyota Land Cruiser that never got done and created head gasket failure. From corrosion. so from experiencing this from another brand, I'm thinking that's why BMW suffers from so much plastic deterioration on parts of of course they're not gonna tell you to do it.

I'm looking for a solid repair and workshop manual for my 2026 X5 M60i (G05), but I'm coming up empty.

I'm looking for a solid repair and workshop manual for my 2026 X5 M60i (G05), but I'm coming up empty.

In the past, I’ve always relied on Haynes or ALLDATA for my other vehicles, but neither seems to have anything available for the '26 M60i yet (probably because it's too new).

What is everyone using for the LCI G05s?

I'm getting ready to install Redstar catless complete downpipes, Eventuri intake and inlets, and jb4. The Eventuri and jb4 are pretty self explanatory to me, but I always like having the manuals available for torque specs or other odd's and ends.

Determined I needed to replace my AC system pressure sensor. My understanding was that removing the sensor would not allow the refrigerant to escape because there should be a shrader valve. Well the shrader valve was either always missing, or it broke, came loose and blew away. There was a lot of pressure. Attached are pictures before I removed the sensor and after. Anyone have any experience to know what happened and was I wrong to expect the system to hold pressure while I replaced the sensor?

Hi all. Excited to have picked up our new X5 this past Saturday. Loving it so far, getting immersed in the tech, one step at a time. Unfortunately just noticed the CEL was on as we were coming back from dinner this evening. 126 miles on the odo. Nothing showing in the Check Control list. Thought perhaps the gas cap might be loose (thanks for the gratis tankful, dealer), but opening then securing it didn’t change things.

Wondering if anyone has any ideas before I head for the dealer tomorrow.

BTW, if anyone’s interested. It was 31 days from submitting the order to being handed the keys. I think that was incredible. This was despite having to cancel my PCD ad reroute to the selling dealer due to a medical issue. Great job BMW!

This is a continuation of a previously written thread (https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1789610) regarding many people experiencing issues with a subwoofer like hum at multiple speeds. Commonly at 30mph and 60-70mph. Several of these people came to the conclusion that it was their rear driveshaft and after replacing it, had a successful result.

I’m creating a v2 to this thread to 1. See who else has experienced this, and 2. If they’ve replaced the entire direveshaft assembly or if they’ve had luck replacing the guibo and or the center support bearing.

Thanks in advance for your response.
