In my defense, that garage was used for storage, and I was the first car in a long time to actually be able to park in there (but only because the landlord squished a bunch of people into the property and nobody, including me, wanted to pay for a parking pass... PLUS I was had the car car that had Homelink since there was only one remote). Besides, that dump wasn't even my house. On the plus side, I can back in full tilt and if I miss my mark, at least it's not a metal post and it absorbs the impact without scratching the paint
Also, my roommates are nosy and obnoxious, and I'd rather be known as the guy renting from another guy who keeps mattresses in his garage, than the guy who halfway through the interview, a guy is lighting a cigarette or asking me who I'm talking to or what a word means.
