Since the “Ultimate Leasing Machine” has a standard lease term of 36 months, BMW probably realized that their most cost-conscience, low monthly payment customers place no value on 12 extra months of free maintenance that can’t be used beyond their 36-month lease terms.
BMW probably also realize that people who purchase their cars don’t mind paying an extra $59.95 for an oil change during their 4th year of ownership.
