If that is your criteria , then I can speak from personal experience on the 5 series. I have had 3 different 5 series now, out of 41 cars I have owned in my life, and each of my 5ers I have taken on business from LA to San Jose (about 6.5 to 7 hrs), and I have never been more comfortable in any car. When driving a long time in the 5 series (meaning 4+ hrs) I get out feeling as if I had driven any other car for 20 mins. And that is a feat for any car for me, I am 6'4" / 250, so finding any car I am comfortable in is a struggle.
