As for using my phone as a key regularly? Probably not, at least for me. For real, the Jaguar activity key is a smarter solution, at least for my lifestyle. I don't want to hold my phone up to my door handle every time I want to get in the car.

Ya would be nice it if worked like the key and in your pocket was good enough to be detected by the car - I will probably never use it either. Guess it is a good backup, I have always been a bit paranoid that the car is using the key in my wife's purse and then she leaves the car and somehow I go somewhere ignoring the message on the dash that there is no key, shutoff the car and then can't start it again - this would solve for that probably non existent scenario.
