Rims and tires are cheaper and better performance in snow.

But if you don't care about cost then 21" would look better.
Thanks for your tips, After so much online research, I decided to get the following rims for my existing snow tires:

Niche Vosso Matte Black: 5x112mm 20x9in ET38 (For the Front 275/40R20)

Niche Vosso Matte Black: 5x112mm 20x10.5in ET40(For the rear 315/35R20)

The only problem is the center bore of the rim is 66.5mm, and the X5 G05 is 66.6mm (from one of links provided). I wonder if they would fit? Are those numbers suppose to be the same? maybe it was rounded it up, and hence the confusion?

Other than that, the wheel for this set up is a little bit smaller in total diameter than the original 22 inch wheel (about 0.9 inch), I think it should be fine.
