Very annoying because much people use the rear fog lights just with bad weather and not only with fog. Very distracting.
But our cars don't have those fugly yellow reflectors on the side like the US cars

When I was stationed in Germany I remember picking up my full size van in Bremerhaven and being told I had 30 days to have a rear fog light installed on the left rear bumper. The AAFES gas station had a wall full of fog lights and was doing a bang up business of installing them on service members cars. I guess this is still the case for those service members who ship a car like I did since I am not aware of any US cars that have rear fog lights.
It's interesting that some Audis and Benzs sold in the US do have rear fog lights that are activated. It's my understanding that there is an issue in terms of US DOT standards for rear fog lights but I don't know the specifics.
Anyone know if the rear fog bulbs are installed in the X cars made in SC for sale in the US? I kinda doubt they have them but am interested to know.

my Audi SQ5 had rear fog lights (2018 MY)
I may just bite the bullet and bye esysx so I don't have to wait, originally tried to get my esys launcher updated but token master wouldn't respond for 3 months of trying so then tried bimmercode which makes life easier. Esysx and I could code it 10 minutes from now, so may just suck it up and pay for it.
