MystroX5 provided a good factory go-by for installation. The other install element reported was that the badge is parallel to the design crease in the fender, not to the ground or level, but esthetically it doesn't really matter as long as both sides are the same, and the top pic actually shows it parallel to the bottom of the door (not an X5). You can install them easily by cleaning the surface, use painter's tape to define where you want to place it, and press to place (mild heating with a blow dryer will improve adhesion).
