I talked to the dev a while back on this, something about the size for that module over bluetooth was the issue so he removed from the app. It works with a physical cable and an iphone and a version he provided me.
Also oddly, my upgrade to 7.55 from 11.49 or something like that did not wipe out my coding on the tailgate.
