I work out almost exclusively after dinner. Unlike SOME people on here who get up at 2:30 and aren't even norm.. errr, tired, since I get to work around 6, I ain't getting up any earlier to go to the gym. Mine opens at 5 anyways, so not enough time to do much and still get to work.
I can be in bed and nearly asleep within 45 minutes of returning from a workout.
