Well, I finally got the word this afternoon that it was released by BMW and was reassembled. It is sure good to have it back...I'd been driving a little X2 for the last 28 days, no offense to those who own one, but nothing like driving an X5 M50i. It appears the creaking sound is gone, not entirely sure that I didn't pick up something new though. It is just good to have it back. It appears that there were bad spot welds and/or other issues under the rear bench seat. I attached the three page invoice for anyones perusal.
