Like Alan said break in service is at 1200 miles, they change the oil and filter as well as I believe the differential oil. My experience these engines continue to break in and get better through 5,000 miles. Mileage improves and engine responsiveness improve over time. My M5 really came alive after about 5,000 miles. |
And do they call you for service or not?
With my 540i they called me after 15000kms or so.. I changed (wanted) oil in service sooner in 2500kms and had to pay for it extra
