Manufacturers mostly advertise the fuel economy based on the best usage of the hybrid system. If you drive on highways at constant speed 95+% of the time, there you get no benefit from the hybrid system. On average you probably will likely get lesser fuel efficiency than advertised unless you only drive for regular commute in busy roads.
