Yeah I think the IS will be a little more expensive than $50k. I'm thinking probably $60k starting.
However, for the same price as the Type-S, I'd easily go for a Genesis G70 3.3TT, loaded is pretty much $52k, and you get a RWD-based platform and chassis tuning by Albert Biermann.
