I am interested to know what your gas mileage was like on your longer 250 mile trips. A couple times a week I will drive 140 miles round-trip and I'm worried that once on the highway for long distances the slightly less efficient engine in the hybrid will translate to worse fuel economy while at the same time depleting the battery and sacrificing performance when I need it. And on those long trips I will be going about 80 miles an hour
