Would technically work, but as mentioned, a square setup supports better tire rotation patterns and it's not like you really want the dry track performance of a staggered setup for the winter. But the major negative is that you'll likely face consistent limited 21" staggered winter tire selection and supply. 21" also have less tire profile which limits winter conditions performance — you want lots of tire profile for winter.
Summary: 20" square is the way to go for winter. |
Thanks for the advice! I'll go with this in mind. I ordered the 20" wheels from bmw online dealer and now I'm waiting for an email to see if they have it in stock to ship since this online dealer searches the USA for available parts from what it seems on bmwpartsdeal.com
