I don't use apple stuff, so wouldn't be affected (when it finally arrives, November fingers crossed) as I'm on android. Android auto both abrp and evnavigation.com can be got to work, even if with just a little fiddling.

Pretty sure idrive 8 will ship with the new cars? If this won't be supported in idrive 7 then I fear the ix3 won't be getting it.
I doubt the ix3 will get idrive 8?
