I remember on my E92 it was fairly easy to install, max of like 30-45 minutes, not sure if the G05 is the same.

Pretty easy to install just run the OBD cable through the hood latch cable grommet. FYI, it's a tight fit causing the grommet to rip a bit.
I also ran JB3 on my e90 335 (n54 motor)
