Owned a 22 M50i and now a 23 X5MC. The ride on my M50i with DHP and 21s was nearly the same as the X5MC, harsh at times over bad pavement, but overall they both ride well on most surfaces. The driving dynamics are completely different, other than similar engine power. Night and day, the M50i feels like a regular X5 with more power, the X5MC is a beast. Outside of price delta, I wouldn't ever choose the M50i over the X5MC.
