2024 x5 50e three weeks old. Had similar issue as reported in this thread. Odb2 reader indicated:
P0D1B Hybrid/EV Battery Pack Coolant Control Valve "B" Performance/Stuck Off
Vehicle has a production date of:
6/1/2023
Just dropped it off at bmw dealer and they were unaware of any larger issues. This does not inspire confidence in a quick fix. Will update when I learn more.
Update: I just called BMW of North America and they stated there are not aware of any issue effecting numerous x5 50e vehicles (as described in this thread) and no recall or stop sale on the vechicles at this time. Not sure this is accurate info given the amount of reporting in this forum.
Update July 11: BMW service advisor called and said they would be replacing battery pack coolant control valves (two in car) and part will arrive on 12 July. We will see
