Prior to that, I had really bad stomach pains and thought I had colon cancer...exact symptoms.

Now, I have had a headache for a couple of days and think I have a brain tumor.

I can't help myself but google the symptoms and I read reddit posts etc of people diagnosed.

Does anyone have this?
This isn't hypochondria. This is health anxiety. Hypochondria is when people worry about having a problem with no real symptoms. Health anxiety is when an ankle sprain after playing basketball becomes bone cancer worry when you're trying to go to sleep.

Different. Hypochondria is awful, and can rarely be helped. Health anxiety can be alleviated by going to the doctor when a real symptom needs an actual diagnosis.

Google isn't always terrible. Sometimes patients come armed with good information. But not always.
