EDIT: upon further investigation, this appears to be an LCI thing. It would appear that BMW have possibly downgraded the LCI to only use 374mm on certain engine variants (when optioned with the M Sport brakes), whereas pre-LCI got 395mm regardless of engine variation. Even the 25d (in pre-LCI form) got 395mm!

I guess they had to find the money for the hybrid powertrain somewhere! I could see BMW doing something like that to reduce costs on some components to make up for additional costs on others.
