Tread width varies GREATLY between manufacturers. For example... the section width and tread with on a Pirelli PZero, is nearly an INCH more narrow than a Continental Sport Contact 7.... ON THE SAME EXACT SIZE TIRE. That's why I ask.
I'm running Pirelli P-Zero 295/30ZR22 (+1 from OEM 21") front and 315/30/22 rear.

There is a slight amount of stretch using OEM tires, but it seems more noticeable in the front? Which is weird, because I went 1/2" wider in the rear, but kept the same width as OEM in front.

Good to know that Contis have a wider track in the same sizes. I think I would like my next set of tires to be slightly fatter to fill the fender better with less stretch. If the Contentials are available in those sizes when I'm ready for a new set, I will likely go with them at that point.
