I just wanted to post an update: I just had MSS springs installed on my 23 X5MC 3 days ago. Although I've noticed an improvement in the ride quality, I'm extremely disappointed in the lowered height. For most of us the primary objective of installing springs is to reduce the wheel gap, and after installation I still have a gap of 2.5" on the lowest setting!!
I've been working with Ben at RG Sports and he confirmed that the installation is correct and he agrees that this is not acceptable. He stated that this was a new batch of springs for MSS from the UK and there may be an issue.
Extremely disappointed!
$3k for no cosmetic change!
