You think plasti dip would even hold up well in that specific use? I had the big VW Touareg Diesel way back when, sprayed front and back emblems flat black. Realize paint is different but regardless, 2 years later the back looked great and the front looked like hell because it was constantly getting wind, rain, etc. Back takes a lot less wear and tear than front.

in my experience with plasti dip, i had no issues with peeling or cracking. even if it does, you can spray again and peel it off
