That would indicate it is supply related - it comes down to level of reliable supply as obviously the assembly lines are config'd for the options.
For example, if covid cut reliable supply by 50% and the Canadian take rate consumes 30% of overall supply then you could either cut it in both markets or shift all of your supply to Canada and cut the US market.
Given all of the little things that have been cut (cup holders, soft close, night vision, off-road package, steering, etc) to me that reeks of supply chain. |
