Ja that and tire width, tire pattern, all seasons versus high performance, and tire manufacturer.
One could argue that in this day and tire, tire technology that they could produce a high performance summer tire with minimal harmonics.
BMW has always made owners compromise between looks (assuming that owners these days select big 22" wheels and tires for the ultimate driving performance) and daily driving comfort (19-20" wheels and all season tires).
