So first let me advise few things you may not have yet considered. You can connect an apple TV (I've had that, amazon stick and rocku). You can then mirror your iphone to the screen. You can also mirror it through HDMI. Galaxy mirrors directly.
Now to the fun part. I've had rear entertainment for the past 10+ years. The last one was in my x5 2017 (I had 100s of movies on a usb hard drive, Netflix, Disney, could connect a playstaion - you name it). It is an awesome option when done right. So I was expecting a major upgrade with 2020. However long story short, the 2020 was under-performing or not performing at all in 15+ areas in comparison to the previous model. I was able to claim my car a lemon solely on non warranty conforming rear entertainment's software.
