No I think you are wrong the front bbm links are longer then oem. see pictures

I did install them this weekend and have a lot of pictures.
First pictures bbm links, the longer go in the front.
Second pictures oem links.. all the same length

The reason why it works reverse is because the front ones are above the axe , they can be removed without removing the wheel if you lift it enough. The rear ones are under the axe.

I still have fine tune the new links a little bit, this van be done without removing the back wheels but there is verry limited space if you don't have a bridge.

I will write a howto soon ;-)

One tip. leave your door open so the car won't lower when disconnecting the links.
