BMW X5 Forum (G05) - View Single Post - X5M base has different center console than Comp in terms of ambient lighting?

Any reason why they wouldn't run the ambient lighting in the X5M Comp all the way down the entire center console on both sides like they do with the base model? Aren't they the same center console basically?

The pic is what it looks like in the the X5M base (and normal non-M X5) models....
