The YouTube video leaves out a lot of detail, but has some value.
One can download using cellular on the iPhone and it did not take long.
However, to install there must be a BMW ‘internet’ connection + BT. In my case, I have to stop the video camera from taking over my Wifi.
The actual upgrade does not happen until the car is literally parked and not simply stopped.
It can take at least 20 minutes. The key must be left in the car, the park brake must be on. I can get in and out of the car which I did, but must wait I think maybe 4 minutes before opening the car door when one sees the percentage number and line on the screen. |
Stuck here since yesterday. Leave the car running park and lock for 20min and still nothing happen. Reboot Idrive couple of time last night but still nothing.
