- Is it possible to configure my 2022 X6 M50i to play music videos off a USB while the car is in motion? It can when I'm in park.
- If so, how do I do that? Do I need this 'bimmercode' thing? If so, is it software I have to pay for (how much should it cost) to download to my Android? Do I actually need to buy an adapter as well?

Just trying to clearly understand what it takes, if it's worth it and if it's easy enough for simple folks to follow. Thanks.
For all the yes/no questions, the answers are yes. For the rest, do a couple of 5min searches here and on the open internet — it's very well covered and you already have all the keywords you need.

Ok, sigh. I'll edit to be (slightly) less prickly:

- yes, Video in Motion as you describe is possible on all G05/G06/G07/F95/F96
- yes, you do have to code it
- yes, Bimmercode is the simplest way to do so and explicitly supports Video in Motion and provides detailed post-coding instructions to follow to fully enable Video in Motion after coding
- yes, Bimmercode is available on Android
- yes, Bimmercode is paid; price depends on your region, but it's as simple as looking in the Play Store (why not do that now?)
- yes, you'll need an OBDII adapter (those are paid as well); Bimmercode documents very well what they require for G05 and Android; your choices are Bluetooth, WiFi, or wired Ethernet, but considering your obvious experience level, one of the explicitly supported Android and G05 Bluetooth adapters is best for you
