Pay the dealer, you would not want to do it as you have to be somewhat of a contortionist unless a small person.
The filters cost about $150, but can get aftermarket cheaper, so it would be worth the $45 you are paying them.
Edit: I was quoting dealer price, should be able to get it online for $85 or so.
