Ok, so this is the best I could do with my iPhone.

This first photo is of one of the LED/Laser headlights. You can see all the LEDs in there (the yellow squares).

The second photo is of the mirrors in the cornering light...that should angle the light 90 degrees to the side of the car. You can see 1 LED (the yellow square) reflected. If you get on your hands and knees and look up at the inside-top of the cornering light you can see the cutout where the LED is. So there IS an LED in there! It just doesn't come on.

Hopefully the BMWNA engineering request that my dealer has opened up will shed some light on this for everyone. Maybe this will even lead to everyone getting their cornering lights fixed!

They certainly work just fine on the 5, 7, and X3 that we tested at the dealer! I really don't see how all the cars left the factory without a documented feature in the manual working.
