Do u know about Fuchs wheels ? Knowing the build sheet for your individual car and if it came with Fuch’s wheels and if these wheels were exchanged out for replicas or whatever is good to know.

The nice thing about air cooled 911’s is the lack of corrosion from antifreeze.
Antifreeze is a good way to circulate a hot medium in front of fans to blow warmth into the cabin.

Volkswagen beetles like air cooled 911’s use metal boxes near the exhaust to capture warm air and use open cavity’s that run along sill to the front bulkhead to deliver warm air to the cabin. So you need to make sure the control in the cabin ( and the design is different between the 1970’s and 1980’s models you mention) need to make sure heat is being delivered to the vents.
Once up on a lift a person familiar can use tapping and visual to assess the heat exchanger all the way along the sills to find damaged heating parts.

Thank you for all of this info. Yes, aware of the Fuch's wheels(there my favorite) and I would absolutely only look to a Porsche specialist for the PPI.

I'm a PCA member as well as a Rennlist forum member. Trying to absorb as much knowledge as possible.

I appreciate you taking them time to offer up all of this advice.
