This is good advice. Due to the popularity of classic Porsches, there's a lot of "lipstick on a pig" out there. You will likely go through quite a few disappointments before finding a model that is absolutely perfect for you. But don't be fooled because it looks good in picture. Watch for poor resprays, poor bodywork, rust, etc. Lift up the carpets and see what's all lurking underneath. |
Amen! Oh yeah I have a feeling this journey is going to be a process. So I try not to get too excited when I find one that may work, but usually I'm a day late and dollar short. The demand is just crazy right now. Thanks for all of this priceless info.
