No doubt about it. Buyers have very little leverage at the moment on an F95/F96. The BMW dealer I’m working with told me yesterday that only ~40 allocations were released for the first production run (in April)...for over 300 BMW dealerships nationwide. Thus, the vast majority of dealers didn’t even get one, let alone multiple, allocations. Those dealers who did get an allocation last Friday only got one - supposedly nobody got more.
Obviously the coming months will bring more allocations as supply chains and production ramp up on the new model, but today the supply/demand dynamic will yield few discounts off MSRP.
Unfortunately, I have no patience so I will miss the better deals in 6 months.
