I ordered my car with the basic vernasca, and didn't upgrade leather or leather dash..... never even sat in an X5.
Then.... I sat in a "low-end" X5 that had a plastic dashboard. I was freaking out because it's TERRIBLE.
turns out, my car has the sensatec dashboard, which is totally acceptable IMO.
Sure... the extra leather is nice, but I don't even notice that it's "missing" from the lower door panels. NBD. Crisis avoided... thank God
The dashboard though... thats a big deal. At LEAST get the sensatec
