@Marty in Bgm agreed! I hate the massive river of black brake dust when cleaning wheels. I've always replaced the pads with something low dust on all of our German cars. Audi, BMW whatever, the brakes produce soooo much dust. Nothing was available for our Mercedes as the model was too new.
It makes washing the wheels so much easier. On our current Mercedes the wheels look nasty after 2 days of driving and to clean them properly takes more time than washing the whole car. The cost of the new pads pays for itself pretty quick in the time saved washing, more importantly the car/wheels just look better and cleaner for longer.
