They found a loophole in the system architecture an exploited it. I applaud Red Bull Racing and Mercedes for performing a combined investigation to uncover all of the methods in which this could be successfully executed.

The FIA has, once again, proven itself to be corrupt and devoid of fair play. If non-compliant, Fezza should be DQ'd from those races just as Renault was when they exceed fuel flow regulations by accident. Additionally, since the Fezza work-around was deliberate, they should have had all of their manufacturer championship points deleted just as Macca did back in 2007.
