Nope, I went in for the initial ~3000km vehicle check in December 2019, and they just updated the car.
The vehicle's communications data exchanges are quite advanced, and there is definitely telemetry data passed between the car and BMW, so absolutely yes I believe they know what version S/W people are on. |
