Just thinking about all the posts with iDrive and BMW Connect issues and wondered.. .. If an owners car is running ok, I mean all the things work as intended that the owner wants to use, can they remove the SIM card at that point and stop getting automatic and unannounced communication from BMW that fixes one thing, changes another and breaks something that was working.. .. i.e.: freeze the car in a working state and leave it that way. Possible? Insane or?
