Interesting. I must say I don’t notice it at all on mine at higher speed. I came from an F15 and as you say IAS is a God send at parking speeds but at higher speeds I can’t say I notice it at all. In fact I’d like to disable it so I can try it without to see how the car handles differently with it off line!
Parking is amazing. One underground garage I use has such tight ramps in my old F15 I’d have to drive up and then reverse to get the right angel for the tight turn onto the ramp. Now I just drive straight round with so much spare room the parking sensors don’t activate!
