Dang. I have 8.5 in my X5. I was hoping that it would correct the issue. Still waiting to purchase bimmertech sub and amp until they get the work around figured out. Seems like all the newer BMWs will have this issue so hopefully bimmertech makes this a priority. Thanks for the updates. Were you able to test those resistors?
